Counsellor/Psychosexual Therapist

Mary has worked with Relate for 12 years as a Relationship counsellor and 6 years as a Psychosexual Therapist. For 10 years she has facilitated parenting and marriage preparation courses.  She has lead groups on smoking cessation and anxiety management. Her approach includes psychodynamic, cognitive behavioural and solution focus.

Specialist Areas

Psychosexual Therapy, sexual abuse. Relationship issues, couple communication managing couple conflict.  Anxiety and anger management, building self esteem. Bereavement.

Qualifications

State Registered Nurse SCM, BSc in Therapeutic Counselling, Diploma in Psychosexual Therapy, Relate Certificate in Relationship Counselling.

Days and hours of work

Tuesdays (12noon - 8pm).
