Prior to qualifying as a therapeutic counsellor, Margaret has had a long and varied career working with people in different roles including teaching, nursing and social care. She worked as a counsellor in a GP practice for 4 years. As an integrative counsellor she draws on a number of different psychotherapeutic theories in order to tailor the therapy to the needs of individual clients. Models used include Transactional Analysis, Person-Centred and Psychodynamic. Margaret offers indivdual counselling on a short or long term basis.

Specialist Areas

Anxiety, panic attacks, depression, bereavement, pet bereavement, stress, relationship issues, addiction, recovering from sexual abuse or traumatic life events, building self confidence, managing change in life.

Qualifications

BA (Hons), Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling, MBACP (Accredited).

Days and hours of work

Monday - Friday (between 10am and 8pm).
