Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture

The acupuncture facial rejuvenation treatment involves the insertion of hair-thin needles into particular areas of the face, ears, neck, hands, body and legs along the meridians. Specific points are chosen to manipulate the movement of energy according to a patient’s individual needs.
A course of treatment can be from 10-15 treatments (average 12) administered once or twice a week. Results may be seen as early as the first treatment, but it is generally around the seventh treatment that results are more dramatic and lasting.
Like surgical facelifts, the actual outcome cannot be predicted or how long the effects will last. Factors such as age and lifestyle have a great effect on maintaining the results. However, in general an improvement of around two to five years is possible with results lasting up to three months.
Maintenance or ‘booster’ sessions are normally administered as desired. Naturally, a monthly interval for maintenance sessions will help maintain results more than a seasonal one. In some exceptionally difficult cases, the course of treatment may need to be repeated again.
