Pilates

Physiofit Leeds

Pilates is a form of exercise developed by Joseph Pilates in the 1920’s. Modern Pilates combines traditional Pilates movements with stability techniques used in physiotherapy and aims to rebalance the body improving posture, strength, balance and flexibility.

Modern Pilates targets both mind and body with smooth flowing movements co-ordinated with efficient breathing. The progressive, functional exercises are ideal for everyone from those recovering from injury to athletes wishing to enhance performance.Pilates classes are held in the newly converted Pilates Studio at The Orchard. There is a large timetable of classes. To see the full timetable please visit the Physiofit website.

Small group classes

These are held at The Orchard in six-week courses. There are a maximum of 6 places available. These classes are aiming to offer some individual attention for each client.
