Rachel qualified as a clinical psychologist in 1993 from the University of Leeds. Since this time she has worked in adult mental health at York District Hospital and in health psychology at Harrogate District Hospital and St James University Hospital in Leeds.

Alongside her strong commitment to high quality therapeutic work with clients, Rachel also teaches and supervises trainees from the University of Leeds and Hull Clinical Psychology Doctoral Degree Courses. In addition, she is involved in the supervision of NHS based clinical psychologists and other healthcare professionals. This necessitates keeping updated on current professional, therapeutic and research developments.

She works with adults on an individual basis, tailoring her therapeutic approach to the needs of each client. Her work draws upon a broad base of well-established and well researched therapeutic models.

Professional registration

Rachel is a chartered member of the British Psychological Society and is registered with the Health Professions Council.
She is a recognized practitioner with most of the leading health insurance companies including BUPA, AXA PPP and AVIVA.
