Counselling for young people (5-18 years)

Counselling can provide a safe, secure, supportive and confidential setting in order for young people to gain a better understanding of themselves and the situations facing them.  When working with younger children Sue uses a variety of non-directive play therapy techniques to encourage them to explore painful issues that may be causing them distress. Using various forms of art, story-telling, puppets, soft toys and imaginative role play, children can be encouraged to tell their story and deal with their thoughts and feelings in a non-threatening way.
