Play Therapy is and effective way that helps children find ways to modify their behaviours, clarify how they feel about themselves and builds healthy relationships.

In Play Therapy, children enter into a dynamic relationship with the therapist that enables them to express, explore and make sense of their difficult and painful experiences. I also adapt Play Therapy principles for working with adolescents, using creative ways of self expression alongside talking therapy.

Psychological difficulties treated include depression, anxiety, agression, learning difficulties and ADHD.

I specialise in working with abuse, grief, family breakdown, domestic violence and trauma integrating EMDR into the play process. Play Therapists also wotking closely with parents/carers throughout the intervention and can also workin with the parent/child or adolescent relationship.
