I have been counselling for over 15 years now, with experience in education settings, community counselling, rape and sexual abuse counselling, telephone counselling and private practice. I currently work three and a half days in the Psychology Department for the NHS in Bradford. I previously set up and managed a counselling service in a community centre.

I offer group and individual supervision, costs on request.

I offer workshops/training in areas such as working with rape and sexual abuse, working with Interpreters and looking after yourself as a therapist.

As an experienced therapist, I am currently undertaking additional training in London to work with individuals and couples on a range of Psychosexual difficulties. These may be, for example, loss or absence of sexual desire, vaginismus, painful sex, erectile dysfunction, emerging sexual identity issues or rapid ejaculation.

The course is the London Diploma in Psychosexual and Relationship Therapy. I am working with psychosexual issues related to health problems within the NHS as well as the kind of issues listed above in my private practice.

Therapies offered

I recognise that different people benefit from different kinds of therapy and at different times. In my own work, I am a person-centred therapist who brings all my training, understanding and experience to my practice. My work is boundaried and focused. I work collaboratively, cognitively and emotionally, providing a safe space for clients to look at what is troubling them and work alongside them as they decide what is best for them.
