Barbara is a qualified psychotherapist with over 14 years experience of working with individuals, couples and groups. She is registered as a psychotherapist with both the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP), and the Institute for Transactional Analysis (ITA), and adheres to their codes of professional and ethical conduct. She has acquired a broad range of skills in working in many different ways to enable people to heal and move on with their lives, achieving their goals and finding new ways of being fulfilled. Her training in Transactional Analysis has enabled her to develop a depth of knowledge of how people respond to difficult experiences and become stuck in emotional, physical or spiritual distress. She believes that each person has within them the potential to solve their own problems. She aims to accept each person in the place they find themselves, and enable them to move to where they want to be.
