I have over 20 years’ experience of working within the mental health and social care sectors. As a counsellor I have worked across a range of settings with both adults and children from a variety of backgrounds.

I am a Person Centred Counsellor; this way of working rests upon my deep respect and trust in every individual’s capacity for healing and growth within a therapeutic relationship. Together we will explore your difficulties with the aim of developing an understanding of yourself, your life and your experiences. As we work together and as self-awareness and clarity develop you will more empowered and more in control of your life.

Specialist areas

Person Centred Counselling can help you with whatever concerns or difficulties are around for you. These may include feeling depressed or anxious, relationship issues, redundancy, bereavement or loss. Counselling can help you to work through addictions fear and confusion. It can help to support and develop your personal growth and self-esteem.

Inclusive counselling

People with a learning disability are often excluded from the counselling process. I believe that counselling should be accessible to all backgrounds and regardless of intellectual ability. I have over ten years’ experience supporting people with a learning disability and offer an inclusive service to all.
