Joanne gained a first class Masters degree in Chiropractic following completion of a 5 year course at the McTimoney College of Chiropractic in Abingdon. Whilst predominantly using McTimoney Chiropractic Joanne employs a very individualised approach, tailoring the treatment to each patient depending on symptoms, diagnosis and response. This may include the use of other complementary techniques such as soft tissue techniques, kinesio- taping, and other chiropractic and mobilisation techniques. This ensures that each patient is optimally treated according to their individual needs and preferences.

The first treatment includes a consultation, which involves taking a detailed medical history. A thorough neurological and orthopaedic assessment is also performed to help determine the source of the problem and rule out any cause for onward referral for medical intervention.

Joanne is a member of the McTimoney Chiropractic Association, The Royal College of Chiropractors and registered with the General Chiropractic Council.
