Jo gained a first class Masters degree in Chiropractic following completion of a 5 year course at the McTimoney College of Chiropractic in Abingdon. Whilst predominantly using McTimoney Chiropractic Jo employs a very individualised approach, tailoring the treatment to each patient depending on symptoms, diagnosis and response. This may include the use of other complementary techniques such as soft tissue techniques, kinesio- taping, dry needling and other chiropractic and mobilisation techniques to ensure that each patient is optimally treated according to their individual needs and preferences.

Jo has undertaken additional courses in soft tissue therapy, dry needling and treating the musculoskeletal complaints that often occur during pregnancy such as pelvic girdle pain (PGP) and back pain.

The first treatment includes a consultation, which involves taking a detailed medical history, and thorough neurological and orthopaedic assessment to help determine the source of the problem and rule out any cause for onward referral for medical intervention.

Jo is registered with the General Chiropractic Council.
