I am an Integrative Child Psychotherapist. I work creatively with children, from a non-directive child-centered approach. Through the therapeutic process I support children to explore and express their internal experiences, inviting a space for feelings that may have been pushed deep down or exploded out in destructive or challenging behaviours.

Supporting a child in distress can be stressful and distressing for parents and may also place strain on family relationships. Through sessions with parents I am able to offer support in developing understanding of your child’s communications, nurturing connection and strengthening the parent-child bond.

I have been practicing as an Integrative Child Psychotherapist since 2014. Alongside practice at The Orchard I work at Impact North, an organisation providing parent, child and adolescent psychotherapies in schools and community settings across Leeds. Previously I have worked within school settings in London, where I trained at the Institute for Arts in Therapy and Education.

I have a background working in theatre arts and gallery education and am experienced in supporting children and young people in expressing themselves through creative arts. I have also worked with children as an early years practitioner and as a respite worker with looked after children and children with special educational needs.

I am UKCP Trainee Registered and practice within the UKCP code of ethics.
